About Kevin Fitzgerald

My name is Kevin W. Fitzgerald and I've been in the marketing field for over 20 years. I'm currently the Director of Marketing & Digital Strategy for Home Help Network. I hold an MBA from the University of Connecticut, with a dual concentration in marketing and international business, and undergrad BA from Iona College.

I've written a series of marketing strategy books called the FIND 'EM, SELL 'EM, KEEP 'EM series and a series of children's books called TAILS OF CLINTON. I have an ongoing marketing blog focused on job search techniques and strategies called EINSTEIN JOBSEARCHINGtm.

As an adj. Professor of Marketing, I currently teach MKT 220: the Principles of Marketing and MKT 330: International Marketing for Charter Oak State College, located in New Britain, CT. I've also taught non-accredited sales and marketing courses for several different firms, including Images East, Home Help Network and Basement Systems.

In addition, I've served on the Advisory Boards of MONSTER, THELADDERS and sit on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Contractors Guild. I have won numerous industry awards including the Better Business Bureau's Business Integrity Award, the Holmstead Award, the Harvey Communications Award and the Pinnacle Award for Outstanding Practices. In my 20 years of marketing experience, I've repeatedly demonstrated successes in diverse industries, including:

  • Growing revenues 41%; increasing leads by 137%, customers by 65% & retention by 55% at a professional services firm.
  • Developing extensive international experience, including advertising/marketing in Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America
